Welcome to doublewIDE  Studio.  This studio specializes in audio and video archiving and audio production.  We are located in Conklin, NY.

Are you looking to preserve old family movies or sound recordings?  Here are your ARCHIVAL options:

·         VHS video to DVD

 

·         Reel-to-reel to CD

·         Cassette tape to CD

·         Micro cassette (used in pocket recorders and answering machines) to CD

·         Mini-disc to CD

·         CD to mini-disc

·         Other options may be available if you have the original player for the content.  Examples include but are not limited to:

o   Beta video to DVD

o   8 track tape to CD

o   Record (LP) to CD

·         ALL audio can also be put into file format (mp3, wav, wma) for storage on data CD or DVD, or USB drives.

 

Maybe you’re looking to record a CD of songs?  Here is what is available for AUDIO PRODUCTION:  

 

·         Recording vocals or instruments to an already existing track (like karaoke or other accompaniment track); see content guidelines below.

·         Adding orchestration to an already existing track with the intent to add originality and/or fullness.

·         Constructing an entire track from an idea.  This is a little more difficult to do and will require much more time than anything else.  A basic melody would have to be provided along with a copy of the lyrics.

 

·       Pitch correction of vocals/instruments.

 

·         Mixing each track/song using EQ, compression, and other effects to position and enhance each element of the track/song.

 

·        Mastering the final project.  This process boosts the volume of the entire project and makes each track/song sound like it's part of the same project.  EQ and normalization will also be involved.

 

Instruments available for use on-site:

·         Brambach baby grand piano

·         Acoustic and electric guitars

·         Keyboard

·         Backing vocals

·         An assortment of MIDI programs including:

o   Trilogy Bass module

o   Garritan Personal Orchestra, HALION software synths

o   EZDrummer with the following kits: Basic, Cocktail, Nashville, DFH

 

     o   Antares Auto-Tune EFX (Cher's vocal effect on "Believe")

 

The recording program used is Steinberg’s Cubase 5. 

 

The recording at the top of this page (RETURN by Luke Thomas) was mixed at doublewIDE Studio, along with the addition of some vocals and pitch correction.  Thank you, Luke for allowing me to use this on the website.

3.       Only born-again Christian believers qualify for services involved in audio production.  I am involved with ministry, and that is the purpose for the services available.
